Route setting

We are able to offer a route setting service for climbing walls and other facilities, and supply all necessary equipment as well as fully trained route setters. This can be for general route setting, a complete re-vamp, competitions or special events. Length: As required. POA.

Route setting training

It is no longer acceptable to set routes whilst hanging from a single rope GriGri, a number of regulations now mean that more robust access techniques must be utilised. We can offer staff training in up-to-date technical setting skills including appropriate equipment, work at height regulations, rigging, movement in ascent and descent, bag hauling systems and companion rescues. These can be tailor-made to suit your venue, work area and experience of your staff. Length: 1 day. POA.

Route setting rescue training

Ideal for those that have setting experience but have either not practised a variety of companion rescue techniques or have done so in the past and are in need of a refresher. Note that it is a requirement in law that venues using operatives to work at height must have a rescue plan in place, so this course covers the training elements of these requirements. Length: 1 day.
